Md. Touki Tahamid Tusar is a ‘TRAINEE’ of 6 Hours Crash Course on ‘Literature Searching Databases: Basic to Advance’ which was held 14th April 2024 at Advanced Bioinformatics, Computational Biology and Data Science Laboratory, Bangladesh (ABCD Laboratory, Bangladesh).
Course Syllabus: The crash course covered comprehensive aspects of Literature Searching (LS), including its importance, principles, and types of LS databases; explored top-ranked LS databases, database selection, and comparison; and basic and advanced search techniques, including keyword versus Boolean operators, search filters, and limiters, in addition to addressing source evaluation, result management, field-specific LS techniques, ethical considerations, citation metrics, and tools for citation mapping and visualization.
